Complementarity
Because selling expertise and leading public debate are both legitimate callings, but they cannot follow the same rules. Keeping them separate protects each of them.

What each brings to the other
The Circle’s panels surface questions, controversies and weak signals that the Institute builds into its programmes and analyses.
The methodological rigour developed at the Institute guarantees the Circle’s audience discussions grounded in facts and proven analytical frameworks.
Funds from the Circle’s partners do not finance the Institute’s commercial activity, and vice versa. Each organisation keeps its own accounts.
Partnership agreements are signed with the Circle, which has its own governance and publishes its funding sources. See Partners & funding.
No. Registering for a panel does not sign you up to any commercial offer. You can choose separately to receive information from the Institute.
