Objectives

Why this programme

The line between war and peace has blurred. States and organisations now face diffuse adversaries, influence strategies, economic shocks and security crises that feed on one another. In this context, strategic culture is no longer the preserve of general staffs: it has become a governance skill.

  • Master the theoretical foundations of strategic thought and international relations
  • Analyse security dynamics in West Africa, from the Sahel to the Gulf of Guinea
  • Conduct a foresight exercise and formalise scenarios
  • Write a strategic note that is useful to a decision-maker

Who the programme is for

Civil servants, officers, diplomats, journalists, corporate managers, researchers and master’s students. Bachelor’s level or equivalent professional experience.
