Once a month, for ninety minutes, the Strategic Reflection Circle “Abidjan” brings experts and the public together around a question that shapes our future. No degree required, no entrance fee: only the desire to understand.
The concept
A university without walls for reading the world
Social media has multiplied commentary on geopolitics, but rarely the keys to understanding it. Faced with an inflation of opinions, the Free University of Geopolitics makes the opposite bet: taking time for analysis.
Each panel isolates a precise question, places it in its historical depth, compares the views of speakers from Côte d’Ivoire, France and the United States, then opens the debate to the audience.
The aim is not to tell people what to think, but to pass on a method: identify actors and their interests, separate long-term trends from passing events, and consider several possible outcomes.
