Strategic Reflection Circle “Abidjan”

West Africa Strategic Observatory

Eighteen countries, from the central Sahel to the Gulf of Guinea, read through public governance, economic and security indicators and informed by the Circle’s analysis.

The Circle’s composite index, from 0 to 100: the higher the score, the more exposed the state is to destabilisation risks. It combines institutional fragility, political instability, armed violence, neighbourhood exposure and economic fragility, using a published methodology.
